A sculpture of simple lines and an expressive pose that suggests a contemplative mood.

Created by Grant Bunyan at the 1997 Tāreitanga sculpture symposium at Frank Kitts Park in Wellington, the sculpture was purchased and donated to The Citizens of Wellington by noteworthy Wellington arts patrons Denis and Verna Adam.

It was the second sculpture purchased and donated by the pair. The other, ‘Draped’ was purchased at the first sculpture symposium held at Frank Kitts Park in 1995, and subsequently donated to Victoria University.
