Description
A sculpture celebrating graceful curves and lines of the human form and drapery.
The sculpture was created as part of a fortnight-long Oamaru stone sculpture symposium that took place at Frank Kitts Park in late-Jan to early-Feb, 1995, a first for Wellington. The event involved 40 sculptors. Denis Adam purchased the work at the symposium, and donated it to Victoria University: the first sculpture the Adams’ donated directly to the city, commenting “I’ve done well out of the community in New Zealand, and this is one way of putting something back into it.”
