A 100% shareholding of Auckland Council, Auckland Live is a division of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Limited and is associated with the management of Aotea Square, Aotea Centre, The Civic, Auckland Town Hall, The Cloud, Shed 10 and Viaduct Event Centre.
Auckland Live is a leader in performing arts, culture, entertainment, and events in Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau. Their iconic venues and public spaces are stages for presenting a programme of live arts and events for the enjoyment and inspiration of Aucklanders and visitors, every day.
On behalf of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, Auckland Live manages a significant body of artworks from prominent New Zealand artists on public display at the Aotea Centre and Aotea Square.
Aotea Centre opening hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
- Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays: Open when scheduled events are taking place in the Aotea Centre. The venue opens 90 minutes before an event/show.
