Description
The stained glass window is installed in the window of the Gore Public Library. It was commissioned in memory of Ian Gilchrist, former Director of Parks in Gore, upon his retirement. The window depicts a rural scene and is set in a wall which looks out on a small water feature and garden. The work consists of two identically sized windows which are set side by side. The Gore Public Library building is currently closed for redevelopment. There was originally an information panel located alongside the work inside the building but its whereabouts is unknown.
