Located on the front exterior façade of the building, this mosaic mural consists of small painted hexagonal glazed ceramic tiles. The mural depicts design and construction aspects of buildings with a city scape in the background.

Roestenburg spent most of his life in Europe and when he came to New Zealand in the 1950s he produced leadlight work, murals, and sculptures throughout the country.
