Frank Szirmay

Frank Szirmay was born in Hungary but fled the country, because of the revolt, in 1956. He and his family emigrated to New Zealand. He designed works in Napier: 'The Spirit of Napier' (1971), and 'The Godwit' (1977).
Szirmay's daughter is well-known sculptor Marté Szirmay.
