The Children's Mosaic in the Alexander Heritage and Research Library | Te Rerenga Mai o Te Kāuru was created by the students of the nearby Queen's Park School. The mosaic depicts joyous children playing outside on the grass. Many visitors to the mosaic still recall the part of the mosaic that they worked on.
