Description
The arch is made of ceramic tile mosaic over concrete. A plaque is part of the work describes it as a "bright and cheerful arch, with a myriad of glazed images spanning the entry. Children from the following schools assisted in the creation of the work: Whangārei Primary, Parua Bay School, Raumanga Intermediate, Onerahi Primary, Whangārei Intermediate & Hora Hora Primary. Thanks is also given to Tourist Information, Maunu Health Camp, Kensington Cubs and ??"
