Description

A painted collage of head and shoulder portraits, the heads made up of various objects and flora and fauna.

"This playful mural was created about 1999 by Chris Finlayson, a prolific and talented artist. Born 1955 in Balclutha he now resides in Golden Bay. He came to Nelson in 1983 and painted the now famous 'Aotearoa' mural at Port Nelson, which was declared a civic landmark. It remains one of the most photographed environmental artworks in New Zealand."
