Description

Carved tōtara entranceway with tekoteko depicting Raupapa at the apex. The left panel represents the entrance to the seat of learning, and the right panel represents progress toward a pinnacle. Commissioned by the School of Management studies as a tribute to Te Ariki Dame Te Atairangikaahu and tangata whenua. Carved at Whare Pu Werewere in Frankton, Hamilton. Unveiled by Professor Wilf Malcolm.
