Description
'Sea Piece' is painted as two panels, forming a diptych. In a painterly manner, Barbara Tuck has depicted a series of overlapping images of boats ranging from waka to dinghy. A tree stump indicates the price of these vessels on the landscape, as trees were felled to build them.
