Margriet Windhausen

b. 1942

Born in the Netherlands, Margriet Windhausen completed sculpture studies at City Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht. She moved to Aotearoa in 1976 with her husband Paul van den Bergh, living in Gisborne, Hamilton and Invercagill before settling in Maungati near Timaru.

In Aotearoa Windhausen taught at various schools and technical institutes in Timaru, Hamilton, Invercargill and Timaru. She also undertook regular study travel to Europe.
