Thirty Thousand Club

The Thirty Thousand Club was established in 1913 to support the Napier community until its population reached 30,000. After 62 years, when the population of Napier was nearing 50,000, the club was wound up.

In 1954 it provided funds toward the 'Pania of the Reef' sculpture.
