Description
Stephen Ellis describes this work as exploiting its installation in Building 206 by "using only a small part of the wall to involve the whole wall in" one of Terry Stringer's quintessential perspective games. Approached in the confined space the "relief head on a relief pedestal borrows colour from the setting; and a forced perspective backdrop fattens the reliefs and twists the wall."
This is one of a series of works curated by Pat Hanly.
