Description

Composed as seven panels, this mural is painted in oils and is a characteristic example of Robin White's 'hard-edged' realist style. The forms of the Otago landscape have been smoothed and refined into clear shapes in a restrained colour pallet.

The work, now protected behind perspex sheet with a foot rail, was one of 6 new works commissioned during the construction of the Ward Block.

Access restrictions: requirements relating to public health may apply (i.e. wearing of masks etc).

The hospital is generally open to the public from the time appointments begin, (approx. 8-8.30am Monday to Friday) and visiting hours are 2-8pm daily.
