Description
A plaque installed with the work reads:
“Originally located in the Menzies Building, this artwork was commissioned by the Waikato Hospital Arts Advisory Committee in 1974 with funds raised by the Rotaract Clubs of Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Hamilton and Hamilton North.
“In 2011, the Arts Advisory Committee commissioned Para Matchitt to move, restore and update the artwork to the ‘main entry - Te Rau Aroha’ in the Hague Road Carpark Building.
“Waikato Health Trust funded the restoration.”
