Description

A plaque installed with the work reads: "Presented to the people of Onehunga on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the foundation of W. H. Bond and Company. The sculpture was designed by Mr J. H. Palmer of Onehunga and the shapes are derived from Maori fish hooks (Matau) and anchor stones."
