Description
Produced during the artist's time as the inaugural Macmillan Brown Centre Artist in Residence in 1997 for a specific site in the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Arts.
Ui Po Ae Fau Ao is a Samoan phrase referring to the work that must be put in before we can achieve success. It is a vibrant painting referencing traditional tapa patterns and Pacific forms.
