Description
"This is part of a series where Booth experimented with pouring the bronze 'free-form' onto sand, i.e. without using a closed mould. He has used whale harpoons, marlin spikes, shells and kete to make impressions."
Listed in Ali Bramwell et al. Otago Sculpture Trails : University Walk. Otago Sculpture Trust 2003.
Booth used kanuka wood and basalt boulders as raw or only lightly dressed materials in this work giving an 'as found' quality to the composition.
