Tom Tischler is was born in Austin Texas, but now lives in Western Australia.
He began sculpting in the mid-1970s after a prolonged period studing wildlife in Europe and Africa.
He is best known for bronze animal sculptures of which he casts multiple copies using a lost wax process.
