Rua Paul

Rua Paul is of Ngāti Hine, Ngāti Wai and Ngāi Tahu decent.
Returning from anti-nuclear testing protest at Mururoa in 1973 while still a teenager, Paul began an apprenticeship with master carver Paki Harrison. Paul's practice since that time has been immersed in the traditions of Māori art and carving.
