Murray Grimsdale

b. 1943

Murray Grimsdale was born in Dunedin and graduated from the University of Canterbury, School of Fine Arts in 1963. Over the following decade he lived in the United Kingdom where he studied and worked, returning to New Zealand in 1974.

Grimsdale is a figurative and landscape painter, an illustrator, and a sculptor working in bronze and terracotta.
