Gilbert William Bayes was an English sculptor who assisted with the completion of Ferdinand Victor Blundstone's 'Wendy Statue' (1951), as Blundstone passed away before its completion.

He became interested in polychrome sculpture, working with the Royal Doulton Company he produced polychrome ceramics and enamelled bronzes.
