Ferdinand Victor Blundstone

b. 1882d. 1951

Ferdinand Victor Blundstone was a Swiss-born sculptor who lived and worked in England. He studied art in Ashton-under-Lyne, at the South London Technical Art School (City and Guilds, Lambeth School of Art), and the Royal Academy Schools (1904-7).

Blundstone's works include portraits and sculptures. After the Great War he executed several war memorials, including Folkestone War Memorial which is now Grade II listed by the English Heritage Trust.
