Description

This large, sculptural spiral was constructed and cast in fibreglass with a resin incorporating alabaster dust to achieve a monumental, stone-like result. This material solidity is contrasted with the shiny stainless steel strips, set at vertical intervals, across the spiral.

The work is set in the garden entrance to Auckland Girls' Grammar.
